In short: Will It Run? has no accounts and no forms, and it doesn't use cookies or analytics. The devices and numbers you enter stay in your browser and are never sent to us.
Who we are
Will It Run? is run by WillItRun.org. If you have a question about this policy or your data, email hello@willitrun.org.
What we collect
- What you enter in the tool: nothing. The calculations run in your browser. Your devices, hours and state are not sent to us or stored by us.
- Cookies and analytics: we don't use any. If we add analytics later, we'll update this page first and tell you what is collected.
- Server logs: the company that hosts this site may keep standard technical logs, such as IP addresses and the pages requested, to keep the site secure and working. We don't use these to identify you.
- Emails you send us: if you email us, we keep your email address and message only to reply and to fix what you report.
Other companies involved
- Google Fonts. Our pages load fonts from Google, which means your browser connects to Google's servers and shares your IP address with them. See Google's privacy policy.
- Brands and affiliate networks. When you click a price link, you leave our site. The brand's store, and an affiliate network such as Awin or Impact, may set cookies so the sale can be credited to us. Their own privacy policies apply there, not this one. Children
Will It Run? is meant for adults buying power equipment. We don't knowingly collect information from children.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask what personal information we hold about you, and to have it corrected or deleted. Because we don't collect data through the tool, the only information we're likely to hold is an email you sent us. To make a request, email hello@willitrun.org.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle data, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
